As my client, I decorate your essential spaces.
Whether you're a designer, a realtor, a small business, or a homeowner, I focus my skills on creating meaningful art and filling your spaces with art that inspires and connects. You can have curated artwork for your area, even if it's a tiny library or an entire multi-story building. Artwork can be commissioned, purchased, or leased. ~Beckwith
About the Artist/Curator
Beckwith Thompson, a native of West Texas, has a love of travel that has taken her to 15 countries and 48 states. Some of her journeys included adventure jobs: Beckwith drove art cross-country for the photographer, Richard Avedon; she served as a loader in multiple countries for the National Geographic photographer, Mary Ellen Mark; she had the privilege of assisting renowned photographer, Ruth Bernhard, who was 94 years old at the time; and, she worked as a cook on an Arabian horse ranch in Wyoming.
As the owner of Beckwith Thompson Studio, she has developed a way of seeing the world through an artist's eyes, which she shares with her design industry and portrait clients throughout the country, and internationally in such places as Paris and Shanghai. In between their travels, Beckwith and her photographer husband, Steve Goff, focus their energy on creating and showing artwork, teaching photography, and maintaining their drought-tolerant garden. They live in a charming 85+year-old-home known area-wide because of its working clock tower with an armadillo wind vane.
